Reproductive Medicines Associates of Philadelphia is a fertility clinic based in Philadelphia. They provide infertility diagnosis and treatment throughout the United States and internationally.

Because cost can be a deciding factor, the clinic has financial coordinators meet with each patient ÛÒ even before treatment begins ÛÒ to help explain insurance coverage and benefits, and to answer any questions.

The clinic offers options to help with the costs such as a flat fee where intended parents may attempt up to six IVF cycles including ICSI. If, after six IVF cycle attempts, the patient does not take a baby home from the hospital, the clinic guarantees 100% refund. During the application process, the patient must meet specific age and health criteria and be recommended for the that option.

The clinic is experienced in offering reproductive services to the LGBT community in a welcoming and supportive environment. Having helped many same-sex and transgender individuals and couples become parents.

Their services include donor sperm insemination, egg donation using both known and anonymous donors, and gestational carriers. Female same-sex couples may also choose to conceive using reciprocal IVF. Reciprocal IVF is the process of using an egg from one partner, fertilizing it with donor sperm, and then transferring the embryo to the other partner who will then carry the pregnancy.

About the team

Dr. Arthur Castelbaum, a world-class reproductive endocrinologist, received his medical degree from Washington University, and completed his residency training and postgraduate fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He is board certified in OB/GYN and sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has also been featured in Philadelphia Magazine and on The Discovery Channel. He also serves as a reviewer for the journals Fertility and Sterility and Human Reproduction.

Dr. Freedman received his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his postgraduate fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He was responsible for the first cryopreserved embryo pregnancy in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is a co-founder and past president of the Philadelphia Area Reproductive Endocrine Society. He is board certified in OB/GYN and sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Freedman is a reviewer for the journal Fertility and Sterility.
