Stein Law Firm PLLC

The Stein Law Firm, PLLC is a small boutique firm located in a historic building in the state capital of New Hampshire. Its attorneys bring experience, knowledge and creativity to their various practice areas and achieve favorable results for their clients. Attorney Christine M. Hanisco joined the firm in 2015 expanding its practice areas to include Assisted Reproductive Law and Adoption.

After experiencing the devastation of infertility and hopelessness that comes with it, Attorney Hanisco finally became a mom to fraternal twin boys in 2013. The people she met along the way to motherhood encouraged her to take a chance and start her own Assisted Reproductive Law practice. Since joining The Stein Law Firm she has represented dozens of Intended Parents who have achieved their dream of parenthood through egg donation, surrogacy or adoption. She also represents surrogates and egg donors. Her attention to detail, compassion, and efficiency has made her stand out in the small ART community, resulting in a strong reputation that frequently garners her referrals from around the country and world.

Attorney Christine Hanisco came to The Stein Law Firm following a long career in public service, most recently spending over a decade representing indigent juveniles and defendants as a public defender. She began her legal career as a volunteer mediator in the Consumer Protection Bureau of the NH Department of Justice. Throughout law school she held numerous internships in non-profit organizations that provided Attorney to the economically disadvantaged. Following law school she obtained a competitive and sought after judicial clerkship in the Juvenile Department of the Massachusetts Trial Court, before returning to the Green Mountain State. She is a significant contributor to her community; volunteering with Big Sisters of Greater Boston, Girls Scouts, and RESOLVE New England. Currently, she is a member of the NH Bar Association’s Legislative Committee, the American Bar Association’s Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee, and SEEDS: Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy. As a member of RESOLVE New England she has presented on parent panels, professional panels, led peer support groups. and recently was appointed to its Board of Directors to serve a two year term.
